Seniors Trials Day 1 Leaderboard
Below is the table after Day 1 of the Seniors 2014 International Trials. The event was held in the 147 Club, Omagh on Sunday 15th December. Billy Moore from Coleraine (pictured right) leads the way with a superb score of 17. Darren Sterrett from North Down is in 2nd on 14. Day 2 will take place in The Primacy Sports Bar, Bangor on Sunday 5th January after which managers will select their teams for the 2014 European Championships in Bridlington, England.

Below are details of our 2014 Mens International Trials which along with the 2013 Tour go towards selecting our Mens squads for International events in 2014.To enter players should be available to travel to either or both the European Championships in England and either the World Championships in Scotland or Nations Cup (Details TBC)

When - Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th January 2014
Where - Maldron Hotel, Belfast International Airport (formerly Park Plaza)
Time - Registration closes at 10.15am (Roll call of registered players at 10.15am and only players present will be able to play in all rounds of 1st Pyramid. Any player registering after the roll call will be permitted to join in a pyramid at the start of the next round of matches in that pyramid, after their registration.
Cost - £20 if NIPA affiliated, £30 unaffiliated.
Who - Open to anyone who is eligible to represent NI at International Blackball
Spaces - Limited to 96 spaces
Format - Pyramids
Dress Code - NIPA Competition dress code
Prizes -TBC but 1st - 4th will receive a trip costs subsidy aligned with Tour

2014 World Championships
The 2014 Blackball International World Championships are heading to Scotland. The venue is the superb Bells Sports Centre in Perth, Perthshire. (Approximately 40 miles north of Edinburgh Airport).
Dates are Sunday 26th October to Saturday 31st October
Thanks and commiserations go to France for also submitting an attractive bid to host the event.
The Championship will be run by ISP Scotland and recorded by Sky Television.

To be considered for selection, players must play in 50% of the maximum frames (Pyramid System) available over the 2 days of play. The exception to this is the NI Seniors Individual Champion for 2013/4 and any Managers wild cards.
