North Down & Ards Pool Association
Relegation for Clinic and Legends
With the dust now settled after the last round of League matches, the remaining matters have been resolved.  Despite a valiant effort from the Clinic, they were unable to get the win over Champions Shooters Sharks to force a play-off with the Tower, while in Division 2 the no-show of the Shooters Legends at the Tudor Young Men meant safety for Portavogie Pigeon Club.
Results – Wednesday 2nd May – League
Division 1
Clinic 4 v 6 Shooters Sharks, Tower 1 v 9 First & Last Rangers A, Kingfisher 6 v 4 Village Inn A, Ivy 6 v 4 Primacy Ballbreakers
Division 2

Major Success down at Shooters Bar

After alot of organising Shooters Bar held a charity pool event with 3 times World Champion Gareth Potts, fellow pool professional Marc Farnsworth and our very own Ronan McCarthy.

Marc Farnsworth, Ronan McCarthy, Trevor Harte & Gareth Potts.

The 5 a sdie competition was won by the Misfits from the ND & APA, beating Half a shark in the semis and Rockets in the final.

Front row Stevie, Chippy & Deeks

Back Row Warren, Ian & Mark

Terry McDowell put together a great day of pool and everybody enjoyed the event, challage Ronan was always going to be popular and then challange Marc Farnsworth who played some brilliant pool and was easy to see why he is a highly ranked professional.

Then the main event was challange Gareth who made it look so easy, the pool was fantastic to watch  and Gareth and Marc made everyones night by socialising with all the crowd.

Big thank you to Terry and his family for the whole idea along with John from Shooters Bar who once again run a pool event in Bangor which will be talked about for years.
